Teacher Zhang has been a wonderful Mandarin tutor to my daughter. We have been working with her since 2019. Very early on, we noticed how quickly my daughter’s Mandarin writing, reading, and speaking improved and now is really good.Teacher is a superb tutor for many reasons. First her warm and kind personality really comes through while she is teaching. This helps my daughter to stay engaged and learn but also have fun at the same time. I believe that this is a key skill in learning a new language. Second she is able to work with my daughter at the level she is at steadily advance her skills and confidence. Thirdly she uses different types of learning tools such as games, songs, stories and poems. 王宜老師 was my teacher when I first started taking group classes in Taiwan and I immediately liked her style of teaching. She was very creative in the ways she taught (playing games, writing songs, etc.) to make the content more engaging and memorable.I enjoyed her teaching so much that 5 years later, I came back to Taiwan and started 1 on 1 classes with her. I love that she tailors the content to what the student requests and teaches in a very practical way. She is very flexible in her teaching style, going above and beyond what most teachers would do. In my latest class, we ventured into the city together, going to the temple, some shops, and a museum. I was able to use my language skills in these real-life scenarios with her by my side to help me understand Taiwanese culture, history, and gain practical experience communicating in those environments. I will continue taking classes with her and highly recommend her!
